How quantitative food habits can do wonders in body transformation.

Our diet plays an important role in the wellness and fitness of our body. To maintain a healthy body, to keep ourselves physically fit, to improve our mental health and body stamina we must eat healthy. One can follow different diet plans to achieve their desired level of fitness. Dieting is associated with regulated eating habits followed by certain restrictions to reduce, lessen, or sustain body weight.

Quantitative food patterns are an effective and efficient method that helps us in body transformation. Term quantitative food can be associated with our diet plan, as a diet that possesses all essential nutrients and macronutrients which can benefit our body at the same time we don’t have to compromise much on our desire or appetite. If we develop this food habit we have the freedom to choose what to eat without compromising our health. Quantitative food habit is a diet which emphasizes on fixed amount of calorie intake and consumption of macronutrients in 24 hrs time lap further divided into 5 meals. This pattern is helpful and efficient because:


It has variations in nutrients:
 To satisfy hunger one can eat a diet that focuses on a single nutrient, but in the long run, it may be hazardous to our health. To overcome such consequences. A quantitative food pattern is planned considering all the body needs, body type, and conditions of a person for attaining fitness.

It is flexible:
A quantitative food plan aims at measuring and limiting the calories of macronutrients consumed by a person in a definite period of time. The source of obtaining those macronutrients(carbohydrates, fats, and protein) is not rigid, the person is free to choose any eatables of his own choice in accordance with the nutrition plan. One can choose according to his liking among various items of each group and can limit the calories of each macronutrient in his diet plan. to understand the term quantitative food. Let us go through an example if a person has a bucket of 2000 total calories intake in a single day, 55% proteins, 20% fats, and 25% carbohydrates. Now it is his free will to decide from which sources he will obtain 55% protein-like( beans, pulses or eggwhite, fish, seafood, dairy products yogurt, milk, etc) 20% of fat he can obtain from various sources of fat like (nut, dairy products, vegetable oil, avocados, nuts, etc).and 25% of carbohydrates can be obtained from sources like(bread, rice, wheat, oats, pasta, fruits vegetables, etc). we must remember that we must not exceed the calories of each macronutrient for desired body transformation.

It is energizing:
Our body should not be stuffed with irregular meals that are too hefty, it must be provided with consistently nutritious food. Food is the source of energy and by changing the food we eat, timing and the volume of the meal we can quickly and easily control the energy levels which will guarantee to have constant and higher energy levels throughout each day.

It improves metabolism:
 Quantitative food habits can benefit by increasing the rate of metabolism, can reduce the chances of consuming extra carbohydrates, increase in consumption of protein may help in feeling fuller. choosing minimally processed food and adding more homemade cooked food in our will improve our health. One must limit his portion in one sitting and must add all essential nutrients in each serving.

For healthy living and body transformation, it is essential to provide all nutrients and one must not overdo it. Our body should not be stuffed with irregular meals that are too hefty or is imbalanced, it must be provided with consistently nutritious food. Food is the source of energy and by changing the food we eat, timing, and by measuring the size of macronutrients of the meal we can quickly and easily regulate the energy levels which will guarantee to have constant and improved physical fitness and mental health as well as desired body transformation.
